Genuine Joy
(Joshua Wolak) has collaborated with the dancers of FALL to create a live, theatrical performance based on his new concept album RESOLUTION (produced by Mitch Dane, released by Soundly Music). Watch sound and movement collide with art and artists of other mediums as an emotional tale of embracing the unknown unfolds. Themes explored include religious trauma, empathy for the other, and the spirituality of creating.

Hosting the show at abrasiveMedia (a non-profit arts space in Houston Station) allows for a unique stage that blurs the line between artist and audience, creating a one-night-only immersive multimedia experience where every seat shows a unique perspective. In addition to piano, vocals, and dance, the show features La Vie Quartet on strings, and a trio of voices from Portara Ensemble.

Seating is extremely limited, so purchase tickets in advance. Special Arts Patron packages are available which include priority seating (for the most immersive experience), an autographed copy of the album RESOLUTION, a complimentary glass of wine, and exclusive after-party admission. Your arts patron purchase supports two arts non-profits and over a dozen local artists.
